At 108 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms developing across the mountains. These
showers and storms should continue to increase in both coverage and
intensity through 230 PM. Locally heavy downpours resulting in a
quick one half to one inch of rain will be possible with these slow
moving showers and storms. In addition, gusty winds to 30 mph could
occur with any of the stronger thunderstorms.
