IN 1982, SNOW BEGAN TO FALL DURING THE LATE MORNING HOURS, AND
CONTINUED THROUGH THE REST OF THE DAY. SNOWFALL WAS BETWEEN 3 AND 8
INCHES ACROSS THE REGION, WITH FIVE AND A HALF INCHES ACCUMULATION
AT GOODLAND. NORTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH ACCOMPANIED THIS
STORM, ALONG WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TWENTIES.
