...NEW PRECIPITATION AND SNOWFALL RECORDS FOR FRIDAY...

THE WORK WEEK CLOSED OUT AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST
OFFICE ON SAND LAKE ROAD WITH NEW RECORDS FOR DAILY PRECIPITATION
AND DAILY SNOWFALL.

THE DAILY PRECIPITATION -WATER EQUIVALENT- OF 0.41 INCHES DOUBLED
UP ON THE PREVIOUS MARK OF 0.20 INCHES SET IN 1936.  THE SNOWFALL
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 700 PM AND 10 PM ACCOUNTED FOR THREE-FOURTHS
OF THE TOTAL DAILY PRECIPITATION.

THE DAILY SNOWFALL RECORD WAS SET WITH 5.7 INCHES...ECLIPSING THE
PREVIOUS MARK OF 3.3 INCHES SET IN 1988. THE SNOW FALLING BETWEEN
700 PM TO 1000 PM WAS ENOUGH TO BREAK THE PREVIOUS RECORD WITH NO
BREAK COMING UNTIL THE EARLY MORNING HOURS SATURDAY.
