...Minor to Moderate River Flooding Expected on Area Rivers...

Rainfall that began Sunday afternoon and continues this morning
has produced rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches across many of the
river basins. The heaviest rain has fallen across the Yadkin/Pee
Dee Basin and Catawba/Wateree Basin. Moderate river flooding is
expected along the Great Pee Dee River at Cheraw and Minor flooding
is expected along the shores of Lake Wateree. With additional
rainfall of 1 to 2 inches expected across the area through early
Tuesday, other rivers will need to be monitored for river flooding.
