DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1015 AM EDT FRI MAY 27 2016

...All river forecast sites remain below flood stage...

As an offshore low continues to develop...chances for organized rainfall
will rise late Saturday through Monday as it assumes subtropical or
tropical characteristics and possibly move onshore. Heaviest rainfall
amounts are expected primarily in the Coastal Plain...with inland amounts
exceeding 2 inches or more possible in a 72-hour time frame. Uncertainty
remains as to track and timing of the system, which may reach named
status. At this time...no significant river flooding is expected with
primary impacts being urban and small stream localized flooding over
the weekend.
