...Rising Water Levels on Lower San Joaquin River into Early Next Week...

.A series of storms will bring additional rises to area rivers into
early next week.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

Impact for Vernalis...Near 26.0 feet, Severe seepage occurs outside
the levees. The area covered by seepage will increase as the river
stage rises.
Impact for Vernalis...Near 21.0 feet, Seepage begins into crop area
outside of levees.

Impact for Bellota...Near 16.0 feet, Monitor Stage - Bike trail
within lower Calaveras River channel flooded.
Impact for Bellota...Near 14.2 feet, UOP research within the
Calaveras River channel is affected by water levels.
Impact for Bellota...Near 9.0 feet, Water rises out of the pilot
channel but not yet on the levee slopes.
