...A crest below flood stage is forecast for the following location
along the Canadian River...

  For the Canadian River near Calvin...

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* The latest stage was 12.34 feet at 11 PM Sunday.

* The Canadian River is forecast to crest near 13.4 feet
  early Monday afternoon.

* Impact...When the Canadian River reaches 13.0 feet near Calvin...
  Croplands...pastures...oilfields...and local roads may sustain
  shallow overflows. Upstream areas along the river in northern
  Pontotoc...southern Seminole...and west central Hughes counties
  are covered before the areas near Calvin. Downstream areas in
  eastern Hughes County are affected hours later.

  People in flood prone areas should continue to monitor water
  levels...and be prepared to seek higher ground should water levels
  rise suddenly.  Stay tuned for further information by listening to
  weather radio or local media sources.
