A MONSOON TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 12N130E THROUGH A CIRCULATION
SOUTHWEST OF GUAM NEAR 11N143E TO END NORTH OF POHNPEI NEAR 15N157E.
AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW IS CENTERED NEAR 24N164E. AN UPPER TROUGH EXTENDS
FROM THIS UPPER LOW TO 15N145E. THE COMBINATION OF THE THESE
FEATURES IS PRODUCING A LARGE AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN 12N AND 19N FROM 142E TO 160E. THIS AREA
COVERS MUCH OF THE MARIANAS. SURFACE CONVERGENCE SOUTHWEST OF THE
CIRCULATION IS GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
YAP BETWEEN 8N AND 13N FROM 132E TO 142E.

A SURFACE TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 4N164E TO 7N171E TO 15N179E. SURFACE
CONVERGENCE SOUTH OF THE TROUGH IS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS
WITHIN 100 MILES OF A LINE THAT STRETCHES FROM 4N171E TO 10N180.

A SECOND SURFACE TROUGH STRETCHES FROM 15N176E TO 21N174E AND IS
ASSOCIATED WITH AN AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF WAKE ISLANDS BETWEEN 15N AND 21N FROM 171E TO
177E.
