...MARINERS ON LAKE MOULTRIE AND EASTERN LAKE MARION SHOULD BE
ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING...

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move out of the
Midlands and into portions of Berkeley County later this evening.
These thunderstorms could pose a risk to recreational boaters who
are out on Lake Moultrie and the eastern portions of Lake Marion
this holiday weekend. Any thunderstorms that occur will be capable
of producing high winds, hail, cloud to water lightning, heavy
rain and high waves.

Mariners are urged to make plans now to move to safe harbor. Be
prepared to implement these plans if threatening weather
approaches.
