NORTHWESTERN COLUMBUS...DILLON AND EAST CENTRAL MARLBORO COUNTIES
UNTIL 1130 PM EDT...

At 1026 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over much of Dillon County, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Wind gusts in excess of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Dillon, Red Springs, Pembroke, Fairmont, Maxton, St.
Pauls, Rowland, Fair Bluff, Lake View, Clio, Boardman, Rex, Hamer,
Butters, South Of The Border, Hestertown, Shannon, Buie and Robeson
Community College.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can pose a variety of threats including gusty winds,
small hail, cloud to ground lightning, and localized flooding. It is
recommended that you remain indoors until the storm passes.
