...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN TENSAS...
CONCORDIA...CATAHOULA AND SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN PARISHES UNTIL 400 AM
CDT...

At 303 AM CDT, Meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Jigger to 7 miles west of Larto.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

Dime size hail and winds of 40 mph will be possible with these
storms.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Jigger around 310 AM CDT.
  Wisner around 315 AM CDT.
  New Era around 330 AM CDT.
  Cooter Point around 335 AM CDT.
  Monterey around 340 AM CDT.
  Helena around 345 AM CDT.
  Slocum around 350 AM CDT.
  Deer Park around 355 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Harrisonburg,
Gilbert, Sicily Island and Ridgecrest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
northeastern Louisiana...and southwestern Mississippi.
