...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN EDDY COUNTY UNTIL
745 PM MDT...

At 714 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
McKittrick Canyon, or 12 miles northeast of Guadalupe Mountains
National Park, moving north at 20 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Queen, Carlsbad Caverns National Park and Lincoln National Forest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
