.SYNOPSIS...Hazardous surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents
will remain through the weekend. A tropical storm watch is in effect
for Tinian and Saipan. Surf should fall below hazardous levels on Saturday
on South facing reefs at Rota and Guam.

WEST AND SOUTH FACING REEFS...

.Saturday...
Coastal Winds............Northwest at around 10 mph.
Surf along North facing reefs............5 to 7 feet.
Surf along East  facing reefs............4 to 6 feet.
Surf along South facing reefs............8 to 10 feet.
Surf along West  facing reefs............10 to 12 feet.
Primary swell...............West at 7 to 10 feet.
Primary period..............12 seconds.
Secondary swell.............East at around 3 feet.
Secondary period............10 seconds.

Rip current risk.....High. Pounding surf will produce dangerous rip
                     currents at reefs and beaches. Stay out of the
                     water.

Sea surface temperature at Ritidian buoy... 86 Degrees.
Maximum afternoon heat index...........Around 102.

.OUTLOOK...Surf is expected to fall below hazardous levels on south
facing reefs on Saturday. Surf may rise on north and west
facing reefs on Sunday.
