UPPER LEVEL RIDGING ALONG WITH HIGH PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE WILL
DOMINATE MUCH OF EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
TODAY...BRINGING WARM AND MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS. BY THIS
AFTERNOON UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE ENERGY WILL BRING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. THIS ACTIVITY WILL MOVE
EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT
HOURS. MORE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY
ALONG AN ADVANCING COLD FRONT. BEHIND THIS FRONT WILL BE MUCH
COOLER TEMPERATURES FOR FRIDAY...ALONG WITH BREEZY NORTH WINDS.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RISE INTO THE UPPER 70S AND LOW 80S. LOWS TONIGHT
WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER 50S AND LOW 60S. HIGHS ON THURSDAY WILL
RISE INTO THE UPPER 70S AND LOW 80S. BY FRIDAY...HIGHS WILL COOL
BACK INTO THE 60S.
