WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
306 AM CDT THU APR 24 2014

LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST INTO THE MID MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
LATER TODAY AND THIS EVENING. AS IT DOES...SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE LIKELY. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY
EVEN REACH SEVERE LEVELS. THEREAFTER...DRY AIR WILL BE QUICK TO
RETURN ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE STRENGTHENS AT THE
SURFACE AND ALOFT. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE 70S TO LOWER
80S.

A COMPLEX AND UNSETTLED PERIOD LOOKS TO BE UNFOLDING FOR THE
SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY TIME FRAME. MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS A STORM SYSTEM
STAGNATES OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE A
CONCERN...UNTIL COOLER AND DRIER CONDITIONS RETURN BY AROUND MID
WEEK.
