WEATHER SYNOPSIS

RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD ACROSS THE QUAD STATE AREA
THIS MORNING. THESE SHOWERS WILL TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST
THROUGHOUT THE MORNING HOURS...SO THAT BY AFTERNOON...THE AREA
WILL BE DRY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION RETURNS FOR PORTIONS
OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN THE
FORM OF SPRINKLES AND FLURRIES. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN NEAR
NORMAL VALUES TODAY AND WEDNESDAY. AFTER WEDNESDAY NIGHT`S SYSTEM
PASSES THROUGH, VERY COLD ARCTIC AIR SETTLES IN FOR THE END OF THE
WORK WEEK. ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY
REACH THE UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S WITH OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES
IN THE TEENS. WE SHOULD SEE READINGS REBOUND A BIT FOR SATURDAY
BUT YET ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM TAKES AIM ON THE REGION FOR THE
LATTER HALF OF THE WEEKEND.
