WEATHER SYNOPSIS

HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO PROVIDE DRY AND MILD CONDITIONS OVER
THE FORECAST AREA, WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70S AND
NEARING 80 DEGREES EXPECTED SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE AREA ON SUNDAY, BRINGING CHANCES FOR RAIN AND
THUNDERSTORMS BEGINNING SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI,
SPREADING EASTWARD DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WIDESPREAD
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED THROUGHOUT THE DAY SUNDAY AND SUNDAY
NIGHT, AND CHANCES FOR SHOWERS WILL REMAIN THROUGHOUT THE
BEGINNING PART OF NEXT WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL COOL DOWN TO
THE UPPER 60S TO NEAR 70 DEGREES ON MONDAY, AND A COOLING TREND
WILL TAKE PLACE THROUGH WEDNESDAY WHERE HIGHS COULD ONLY REACH THE
UPPER 50S TO NEAR 60 DEGREES.
