AT 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...THE CENTER OF TYPHOON MEGI WAS LOCATED
BY SATELLITE NEAR LATITUDE 18.8 DEGREES NORTH AND LONGITUDE 133.3
DEGREES EAST. MEGI IS MOVING WEST-NORTHWEST AT 16 MPH...AND THIS
GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH A
SLIGHT DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE INCREASED TO 75 MPH. MEGI IS
ANTICIPATED TO INTENSIFY STEADILY THROUGH AT LEAST MONDAY.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 220 MILES EAST OF
THE CENTER...BUT ONLY UP TO 105 MILES WEST OF THE CENTER.
