...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH
LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Winter
Storm Watch...which is in effect from Thursday morning through
late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Heavy snow in the high country could make outdoor
  recreation difficult. Hazardous travel conditions are possible
  on Highway 14 through the Bighorn Mountains.

* TIMING...Thursday through Friday night. Heaviest snow will occur
  Thursday night and Friday.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...10 to 15 inches possible. Greatest amounts
  will fall on north facing slopes above 6000 feet. This includes
  the mountains above Red Lodge.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch is issued when severe winter weather is
possible but not imminent. At this time there is a potential for
significant snow. Future driving and walking conditions may
become hazardous so it is important to monitor the latest
forecasts.
