...SNOW IN THE OKANOGAN HIGHLANDS TONIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING...

.A Pacific storm system will spread light snow over the Okanogan
Highlands beginning late tonight and continuing into Friday.
Winter travel conditions with snow covered roads are expected by
early Friday morning.

Chesaw Road, Highway 20 Wauconda Summit, Boulder Creek Road,

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO NOON PDT
FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for SNOW...which is in effect from 3 AM to noon
PDT Friday.

* Locations...Republic, Wauconda, Chesaw Road, Highway 20 Wauconda
  Summit, Boulder Creek Road, and Sherman Pass.

* Snow Accumulations...2 to 4 inches.

* Timing...Snow will begin late tonight and intensify Friday
  morning.

* Snow Level...valley floors.

* Impacts...Roads will become snow covered by early Friday morning
  resulting in difficult travel conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
