...Gusty northwest winds east and south of Billings today...
...Cold frontal passage Sunday afternoon and evening with gusty
northwest winds...
Weather disturbances will bring isolated to scattered snow
showers to areas north and east of Billings today, as well as to
the mountains. Northwest winds will be gusty east and south of
Billings with gusts of 25 to 35 mph. It will be cooler than normal
with highs in the 30s and 40s. Humidities will range from the
upper 20s to 40 percent. Winds will diminish quickly early this
evening and a few snow showers will linger in the mountains.
Humidities will recover into the 60s to 80s. Ridge of high
pressure will build over the districts on Saturday with dry
weather, light winds and warmer conditions. Humidities will be in
the 20s to 30s. Looking ahead to Sunday, a disturbance will move
east along the Canadian border, dragging a cold front through the
area in the afternoon and evening. The front will be accompanied
by a shift to gusty northwest winds and rain showers. Expect
warmer conditions with humidities in the 20s and 30s. Gusty winds
will continue for Monday with isolated to scattered rain showers.
