.DISCUSSION...More rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms are expected
today into tonight, with the highest concentration of storms expected
south of Interstate 64. Rainfall amounts in excess of 2 inches are
possible where multiple rounds of thunderstorms occur. Storms should
clear the region by sunrise Thursday, with drier and cooler air arriving
for the end of the week and into the weekend. While occasional small
chances for light rain are expected Friday into the weekend, most
areas should remain dry, and those that do see rainfall should only see
light amounts.
