.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A 998 mb low near 57N 154W will move into the Gulf tonight at 999
mb. This low stays nearly stationary and dissipates Sunday night as
its front lingers across the north Gulf Coast through Mon morning. A
996 mb North Pacific low straddles the Aleutian Chain and moves to
58N 142W at 1006 mb by Mon evening.
