The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Hill County in central Texas...
  Ellis County in north central Texas...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 705 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Waxahachie, Ennis, Hillsboro, Ferris, Whitney, Palmer, Italy,
  Itasca, Maypearl, Bardwell, Alma, Covington, Carl`s Corner,
  Bardwell Lake, Aquilla Lake, Lake Whitney State Park, Lake
  Whitney, Garrett, Milford and Bristol.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35E between mile markers 371 and 399.
Interstate 35W between mile markers 1 and 13.
Interstate 35 between mile markers 364 and 369.
Interstate 45 between mile markers 244 and 264.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
