...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GRIMES...
NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY AND SOUTHWESTERN WALKER COUNTIES THROUGH 315
PM CDT...

At 249 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Anderson, or 10 miles northeast of Navasota, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Huntsville, New Waverly, Anderson, Richards, Roans Prairie,
and Dacus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
