...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING
FOR CENTRAL PULASKI AND CENTRAL SALINE COUNTIES...

At 510 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain had
fallen over the past 2 hours. While the majority of the rainfall has
ended...it may take some time for this heavy rainfall to runoff. As
a result...flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
