...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING FOR ANGELINA, SOUTHEASTERN NACOGDOCHES, SAN AUGUSTINE AND
SHELBY COUNTIES...

At 139 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2
and 3+ inches of rain have fallen over the warned area since Sunday
evening. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Areas of light rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue over
the warned area for the next couple of hours, but rain rates have
subsided considerably and thus, the warning will be allowed to
expire at 145 AM. Should rain rates increase again, a Flash Flood
Warning may be needed.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Lufkin, Center, Diboll, Huntington, San Augustine, Joaquin,
  Macune, Etoile, Bland Lake, Neuville, Patroon, Shelbyville,
  Zavalla, Chireno, Huxley, Broaddus, Denning, Chinaquapin, Calgary
  and Jericho.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
