The National Weather Service office in Shreveport LA will conduct a storm survey today for the area near Bogata in Red River County Texas. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on May 9 2024. We will also be assessing damage in the area between Bagwell and Manchester from storms that occurred on May 8 2024. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement this evening.
