...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN MCCURTAIN AND
NORTHERN RED RIVER COUNTIES UNTIL 830 AM CDT...

At 751 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Blossom, or 8 miles southeast of Paris, moving northeast at 50 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Bagwell, Manchester, Valliant, Detroit, Farmers Hill,
Negley, Woodland, Redland, Silver City, Kanawha, Kiomatia, Albion and
Bryarly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT for
southeastern Oklahoma...and northeastern Texas.
