...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEAST CALDWELL AND
NORTHEAST LA SALLE PARISHES...

At 802 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Rosefield, or 14 miles south of Columbia, moving east at 10 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm along with brief but heavy rainfall.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Caldwell and northeastern La Salle Parishes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
