     GROVE...PURLEY...QUITMAN...SCROGGINS AND WINNSBORO...

AT 650 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS WERE
DETECTING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 13 MILES
NORTHWEST OF EMORY TO 8 MILES SOUTH OF SULPHUR SPRINGS TO MOUNT
VERNON...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 21 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SULPHUR
SPRINGS TO 8 MILES SOUTH OF SULPHUR SPRINGS TO 13 MILES NORTH OF
WINNSBORO...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

PEA TO HALF INCH DIAMETER HAIL...AND WINDS 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED
WITH THESE STORMS. SHOULD THESE STORMS INTENSIFY...A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WARNING WILL BE NEEDED.
