...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR
BROWN COUNTY...

At 921 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Rainfall amounts have been 2 to 2.5
inches during the past hour across southern Brown County. Additional
heavy rainfall will cause flash flooding of creeks, streams and
roads.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Brownwood, Early, Bangs, Blanket, Lake Brownwood, Zephyr,
Brookesmith, Owens, Thrifty, Indian Creek and Us-67 Near The Coleman-
Brown County Line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
