SURVEY SUMMARY: A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TEAM SURVEYED STORM
DAMAGE TODAY AND FOUND EVIDENCE OF STRAIGHT LINE WINDS RANGING
FROM 75 TO 90 MPH IN THE TOWN OF HAMLIN.  IT SEEMS THE REAR FLANK
DOWNDRAFT OF A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED THESE STRONG WINDS.  THESE
POWERFUL THUNDERSTORM WINDS DAMAGED ROOFS AND SOME FENCES...BLEW OUT GLASS
WINDOWS ON A BUILDING AND TWO VEHICLES...AND KNOCKED DOWN A POWER POLE.

THEIR ASSISTANCE TODAY.
