...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BROWN...SOUTHERN
COLEMAN AND NORTHEASTERN MCCULLOCH COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 938 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Trickham, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brownwood, Santa Anna, Bangs, Gouldbusk, Winchell, Brookesmith,
Rockwood, Voss, Camp Bowie, Valera, Trickham, Mercury, Mozelle,
Milburn, Whon, Fisk, and Shields.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
