Issued at 414 AM EDT Sat Apr 27 2024 Just another morning in paradise...temperatures in the 60s and somewhat light easterly winds in place. Meanwhile, a persistent area of high pressure aloft slides into the East Coast, while high pressure builds at the surface. As a result, warm and dry conditions prevail over the weekend. Periods of breezy easterly winds are anticipated during this time. Afternoon highs climb up to near 90 with dewpoints remain in the 60s, which should make conditions feel slightly better. Visitors and residents should stay hydrated as heat related illnesses are possible if exposed to the sun and these temperatures for a long period of time. && .LONG TERM (MON-FRI)... Issued at 414 AM EDT Sat Apr 27 2024 Next week, high pressure remains over the area keeping an approaching U/L disturbance north of the area. Winds should decrease through the first half of the week and the sea breeze returns at least to coastal areas. Afternoon highs warm up into the low 90s across the CWA while overnight lows stay in the 60s. && .AVIATION... (06Z TAFS) Issued at 131 AM EDT Sat Apr 27 2024 VFR conditions continue across TAF sites through the period. Gusty easterly winds prevail through most of the day with some terminals actually experiencing an slight increase during the evening hours. Some locations could get gusts near 30 knots. Current guidance suggests a decrease in speeds towards the end of the period, except for PIE. Otherwise, partly clear skies are anticipated wit no other concerns. && .MARINE... Issued at 350 AM EDT Sat Apr 27 2024 Area of high pressure remains in control over the Gulf waters. A tight pressure gradient over the region has resulted in gusty easterly winds and a Small Craft Advisory is now in effect for this evening and into Sunday. Small craft should still exercise caution early today as periods of breezy conditions and choppy seas on the waters are anticipated through the weekend. Winds decrease a bit early to mid next week with the afternoon sea breeze returns. && .FIRE WEATHER... Issued at 413 AM EDT Sat Apr 27 2024 Persistent high pressure continues to dominate across the region keeping warm and dry conditions in place through the period. Minimum humidity values are expected to be at or just below critical levels each afternoon. Easterly winds become occasionally gusty each afternoon into evening with high dispersions in some areas. Even though fuels remain just moist enough to issue any red flag warnings, an elevated fire weather risk remains with these conditions. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
