...A River Flood Warning continues for...Myakka River at Myakka River State
Park...Little Manatee River at Wimauma and Cypress Creek at Worthington
Gardens...

...The River Flood Warning for the Anclote River at Elfers is canceled.

.Continued heavy rains across central and southwest Florida continue to
produce elevated water levels for some local rivers. The Anclote River at
Elfers remains elevated but has fallen below Flood Stage. All rivers will
continue to be closely monitored for any significant rise in water levels
as rain showers and storms move through the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas...

* Flood stage is 8 feet
* The river will continue to fall to a stage of 8.8 feet by Saturday.
* Impact...at 8 feet...Flooding begins at the recreation area on State Road
  54.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8 feet on Sep 30
  2013.

* From this evening through Monday afternoon
* At 9 AM Friday the stage was 10.2 feet
* Flood stage is 11 feet
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by this evening and continue
  to rise to near 12.7 feet by tomorrow evening.the river is expected to fall
  below flood stage by Monday morning.
* Impact...at 13 feet...The canoe rental area floods.
* Impact...at 11 feet...The river overflows its banks.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.3 feet on Sep 26
  2013.

* Impact...at 7 feet...Trails, picnic areas, and parking lots at Myakka State
  Park flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.2 feet on Sep 9
