.DISCUSSION...
Moderate to strong onshore flow will continue across the area through
early next week. This will result in a persistent and deep marine layer
with low clouds pushing into the coastal slopes each night with slow
clearing to the coast each afternoon. For the coastal and coastal
valley areas, high temperatures each day will remain several degrees
below normal with moderate to high relative humidity. For interior
sections, warmer and drier conditions will prevail with afternoon
relative humidity dropping into the teens and 20s. The onshore
gradients will also generate gusty southwesterly winds each afternoon
across the mountains and interior sections with gusts in the 35 to
45 mph range likely across the Antelope Valley foothills.
