...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ELMORE...NORTHERN
LEE...SOUTHEASTERN TALLAPOOSA AND SOUTHERN CHAMBERS COUNTIES THROUGH
1145 AM CDT...

At 1117 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Fairfax to near Kowaliga Bridge. Movement was
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Auburn, Opelika, Valley, Notasulga, Waverly, Cusseta, Martin Dam,
Beulah, Beans Mill, Auburn University, River View, Southern Lake
Martin, Liberty City, Fairfax, Oak Bowery, Kowaliga Bridge, Still
Waters Resort, Western Lake Martin, Huguley, and Loachapoka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for southeastern
and east central Alabama.
