...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  U.S. nearshore and open waters from Reno Beach to Vermilion

At 432 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
capable of producing wind gusts up to 30 knots and frequent
lightning. These showers and thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 nm southeast of North Cape to 14 nm southwest of
Sandusky Bay, moving east at 40 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
