Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
307 AM EDT Tue May 7 2024

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will depart to the east today. Dry air
will hold on across the area into early afternoon. An approaching
warm front will then cause humidity values to increase and will
support numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms this evening.
Warmer and drier air will then advance into the area for Wednesday.
A low pressure system will bring the next chance for rain to the
area Thursday. Northeast winds on Thursday will contribute to much
cooler temperatures.
