...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN HENRY...PETTIS AND SOUTHEASTERN JOHNSON COUNTIES...

At 1006 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Houstonia to near Sedalia to near Lincoln to 9 miles
west of Warsaw, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Sedalia, Windsor, La Monte, Smithton, Green Ridge, Houstonia, Coal,
Hughesville, Brownington, Tightwad, Sedalia Memorial Arpt, and Truman
Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central and
west central Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
