FOR CENTRAL WILKES COUNTY...
At 549 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Washington,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Washington, Tignall, Aonia, Newtown, Danburg, Rocky Creek Fire Dept.,
Metasville, Floral Hill, Holliday Park, Delhi, and Fishing Creek
Public Hunting Area.
