.DISCUSSION...
Gusty southerly wind today, upwards of 30mph this morning. Showers are expected
this morning with a chance of showers and storms this evening. Some storms
could be strong to possibly severe. Winds will shift to the northwest tonight
behind the cold front. RH`s will be in the low 30s today and in the upper 20s
tomorrow.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (75-85 percent) then becoming
                    partly cloudy (35-45 percent). Slight chance of
                    thunderstorms in the evening. Slight chance of
                    rain showers in the evening.
Temperature.........Min 28.
RH..................Max 80 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........North winds 12 to 16 mph with gusts to around
                    28 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected near
                    thunderstorms in the evening.
Mixing height.......1200 ft AGL.
Mixing winds........North 14 to 22 mph increasing to 20 to 24 mph
                    after midnight.
Smoke dispersal.....530 (good) early in the evening decreasing to
                    160 (fair) late in the night.
Haines Index........2 to 3 or very low potential for large plume
                    dominated fire growth.
