At 1245 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Morganton to 7 miles
southeast of Hendersonville. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Forest City, Rutherfordton, Columbus, Morganton, Boiling Springs SC,
Spindale, Landrum, Wellford, Inman, and Tryon.
