A STORM SYSTEM MOVING SLOWLY ACROSS THE PLAINS BROUGHT A MIX OF
LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW TO THE REGION TODAY AND VERY STRONG NORTHWEST
WINDS ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW
TO MID 30S ACROSS NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN KANSAS TO THE 40S ACROSS
EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW WILL DEVELOP SOUTH AND EAST ACROSS KANSAS AND
OKLAHOMA EVENTUALLY SPREADING INTO MISSOURI LATE TONIGHT. ONLY MINOR
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED. LOWS TONIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE TEENS
ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN NEBRASKA WHILE MORE SEASONABLE
LOWS IN THE 20S AND 30S ARE EXPECTED ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS AND
OKLAHOMA.

SEASONABLY COOL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA ON CHRISTMAS
EVE AS LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW MOVE EAST OF THE AREA. WESTERLY WINDS
WILL BRING MODERATING TEMPERATURES WITH HIGHS IN THE MID 40S ACROSS
MUCH OF WESTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN OKLAHOMA WHILE HIGHS IN THE UPPER
30S AND LOW 40S CAN BE EXPECTED FURTHER EAST.
