A surface low pressure system continues to push east through the
Central Plains. Overnight temperatures ranged from the mid 40s in
the western portions of Kansas to the low to mid 60s in the
eastern portions of the state. Winds were out of the south ahead
of the low and west to northwest behind the system at speeds of 5
to 15 mph. Skies were mostly clear.

High pressure will drop down behind the low pressure system.
Across the Central Plains, it is forecast to feel closer to
summer with high temperatures from the lower 80s to lower 90s with
an abundance of sunshine. Variable winds should have speeds of 5
to 15 mph.

Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 40s in
eastern Colorado and western Kansas while eastern portions of
Kansas and Oklahoma will be in the lower 60s. East to south winds
will have speeds from 5 to 20 mph with the higher values across
western Nebraska. Some cloud cover is expected to move in from the
south.
