A few showers and thunderstorms occurred over the eastern half of
Kansas today, but the vast majority of the area was dry and
mostly sunny. Late afternoon temperatures ranged from the mid 80s
along the Missouri border, to the mid 90s in parts of Central
Kansas. Winds were south at 15 to 25 mph and gusty.

A cold front will become nearly stationary by tomorrow afternoon,
stalling from northwest Missouri to the Oklahoma Panhandle.
Thunderstorms, some severe, are expected along the front tonight.
The greatest rainfall is expected across iowa tonight, and across
northeast Missouri and northwest Kansas tomorrow.

Forecast lows range from near 50 in Western Nebraska, to the upper
70s in parts of Northeast Oklahoma. Forecast highs range from
the mid 70s in parts of Western Nebraska, to the mid 90s in
Northeast Oklahoma.
