A LARGE COMPLEX OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS PORTIONS
OF CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS OVERNIGHT...AS A WEAK
FRONTAL BOUNDARY REMAINED STATIONARY OVER WESTERN KANSAS.  THE REST
OF THE REGION SAW PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES. EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES
RANGED FROM THE UPPER 70S IN SOUTHERN KANSAS TO THE MIDDLE 60S IN
CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

THE HOT TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MOST THE PLAINS STATES
TODAY...AS SOUTHERLY BREEZES CONTINUE FOR MOST LOCATIONS.  THE ONLY
EXCEPTION WILL BE OVER NORTHWEST KANSAS AND WESTERN NEBRASKA WHERE
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE ALONG A STATIONARY
FRONTAL BOUNDARY THIS AFTERNOON. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL
CONTINUE TO BE HOT...WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM AROUND 100
IN OKLAHOMA AND SOUTHERN KANSAS TO THE UPPER 80S IN WESTERN
NEBRASKA.

THE WARM AND HUMID AIR WILL REMAIN ACROSS THE PLAINS TONIGHT...AS A
FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LINGER OVER WESTERN NEBRASKA. THE REST
OF THE REGION WILL SEE MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT
WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 60S IN WESTERN NEBRASKA TO THE MIDDLE 70S
IN EASTERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA.
