National Weather Service Wichita KS
458 PM CST Tue Dec 12 2017

Clear skies and mild temperatures were in place across central and
eastern Kansas today. Afternoon temperatures ranged from the low
50s over south central Kansas, to the low 40s over the northeast
corner of the state. West and southwest winds accompanied these
readings at speeds in the 10 to 15 mph range.

Clear skies are expected across most of the region tonight.
Another windy day will be on tap across the Plains on Wednesday as
another upper wave dives out of southern Canada and into the
Mississippi Valley. This will flip winds around to the northwest
with gusts in the 30 to 40 mph range expected across much of
Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas.

Overnight lows are expected to generally be in the 25 to 35 degree
range area wide. Look for highs on Wednesday to range from the mid
60s over central and southern Oklahoma, to the 40s over northern
Missouri and Iowa.
