Skies were mostly sunny over Eastern Kansas, with south winds at
10 to 20 mph and gusty at most locations. Late afternoon
temperatures ranged from the lower 60s along the Missouri border,
to the lower 70s in the middle of the state.

High pressure over the plains will give way to lower pressure
developing over the Rockies. No precipitation is forecast and
abundant sunshine is expected on Saturday.

Forecast lows across the Central Plains are mainly in the upper
30s to lower 40s, with mid to upper 40s over the western half of
Oklahoma. Forecast highs on Saturday range from the mid 60s in
parts of Iowa, to the lower 80s in Western Kansas.
