LIGHT RAIN AND COOL TEMPERATURES PREVAILED ACROSS PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS LAST NIGHT. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES WERE IN
THE 60S WITH LIGHT SOUTHEAST WINDS AND OVERCAST SKIES.

LOW CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO LINGER OVER THE REGION THIS MORNING WITH
SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IN CONTROL. THE LOW CLOUDS WILL FINALLY BREAK
UP UP AND ALLOWING WARMER TEMPERATURES TO SPREAD OVER THE CENTRAL
PLAINS FOR THIS AFTERNOON. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE 90S IN
THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...TO THE COOLER 70S OVER EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL OVER THE HEARTLAND FOR
TONIGHT...WITH DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL
BE IN THE 50S AND 60S FOR MID AMERICA.
