LIGHT SNOW AFFECTED SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF KANSAS
TODAY. SNOW TOTALS WERE GENERALLY IN THE TRACE TO 2 INCH RANGE WITH
THE HIGHER AMOUNTS ALONG THE KANSAS-OKLAHOMA BORDER. LATE AFTERNOON
TEMPERATURES WERE AROUND 30 DEGREES COLDER THAN THEY WERE SATURDAY
AT THIS TIME. READINGS WERE GENERALLY IN THE 20 TO 25 DEGREE RANGE.
NORTH WINDS IN THE 15 TO 20 DEGREE RANGE ACCOMPANIED THESE COLD
TEMPERATURES.

STRONG SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY SHIFT SOUTH AND
WILL STRETCH FROM THE OHIO VALLEY INTO NORTH TEXAS BY MONDAY
AFTERNOON. THIS WILL SLOWLY PUSH SNOW CHANCES SOUTH TONIGHT INTO
MONDAY. THE BEST SNOW CHANCES TONIGHT WILL BE OVER FAR WESTERN
KANSAS ALONG WITH THE WESTERN HALF OF OKLAHOMA. IN THESE LOCATIONS 1
TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. FOR MONDAY...LIGHT SNOW WILL
LINGER OVER OKLAHOMA WITH AMOUNTS EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN AN INCH.
MEANWHILE...VERY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN OVER THE PLAINS
THROUGH MONDAY.

LOWS TONIGHT ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM AROUND 10 BELOW OVER CENTRAL
AND NORTHERN IOWA TO THE TEENS OVER OKLAHOMA. HIGHS ON MONDAY ARE
EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE TEENS OVER IOWA TO THE 20S OVER OKLAHOMA
AND KANSAS.
