...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL LEWIS...SOUTHEASTERN ADAMS AND SOUTHWESTERN SCIOTO
COUNTIES...

At 851 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Rome, moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Rome, Blue Creek, Carrs, and Buena Vista in Scioto County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for northeastern
Kentucky...and south central Ohio.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
