.SYNOPSIS...

A pair of cold fronts trailing a low pressure system to the
northeast will scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area
waters this afternoon and evening, some could become strong and
capable of gusty winds, frequent lightning, and small hail.
Following the frontal passage this evening, a surge of strong
northerly winds will overspread the waters with frequent gale
force gusts possible. Winds turn northeasterly as high pressure
builds to the north through Sunday. Combined seas will rise to
hazardous heights for small vessels. Winds will decrease and trend
onshore through first half of next week as high pressure shifts
to the northeast and a cold front begins to approach from the
west. Elevated seas will be prolonged amid the onshore flow.
