...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN RAPIDES AND
NORTHEASTERN VERNON PARISHES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 417 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Clifton, or 12 miles southwest of Lena, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Boyce, Lena, Ball, Clifton, Flatwoods, and Timber Trails.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 94 and 109.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for central and
west central Louisiana.
