For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.00 inches, holds over central Great
Lakes through this evening. Low pressure moves in from the
Midwest Tuesday night into Wednesday with potential for easterly
gales across northern Lake Huron. A cold front moves through
Friday with weaker westerly winds through the weekend.

...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY
EVENING...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to
5 to 10 knots early in the morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding
to 1 to 3 feet early in the morning.
.TUESDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the northeast in
the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming east
15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots in the late evening
and early morning...then increasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts
to 35 knot gales after midnight. A chance of showers after
midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 8 to 12 feet. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales.
Showers. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot
gales becoming southeast 10 to 15 knots. Showers. Waves 10 to
14 feet subsiding to 6 to 9 feet after midnight. Waves
occasionally around 18 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the west
late in the morning...then decreasing to 5 to 10 knots late in
the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in
the afternoon.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots. A chance of showers early in the morning. Waves 1 to
3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet until early morning.
.SATURDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 15 to
20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet.

15 knots. A chance of showers early in the morning. Waves 1 to
